LaLiga Santander: Match week 6 results (2019/2020)

The LaLiga Santander took a detour from to have it stage featured in the midweek. All games featured and all teams still fight to keep their hopes high for whatever glory they pursue.

The LaLiga Santander week 6 started with Real Valladolid hosting Granada at the Jose Zorrilla in the sixth phase of the LaLiga Santander which turned out to be a close one between the two. The visitors were a little bit strong on the ball than the home team. Granada were able to edge out Real Valladolid on possession with 52.8% to 47.7% but the home team were hard to keep down. Though it was a silent game as chances were few but both team still settled for a draw after 90min.

The second game was Betis against Levante which ended in favour of the home side and they cruise pass Levante to achieve all three points. This game was expected to be a tough one for Betis but their previous big win served its purpose to enable them gain all confidence to compete with any opposition. Coming from behind to win comfortably was what Betis needed to prove their potentials to others. Goals by Loren Morón on the 47th minute of the first half, 2min into the second and Borja Iglesias on 66th minute of the game sealed all 3 points for Betis.

A big win for Barcelona as they got back into winning ways at Camp Nou with a massive and needed win over Villarreal with an early goal by Griezmann on the opening 5min of the game and 9 min later, Arthur Melo the second for Barcelona.
Villarreal stood up to the challenge and were able to pull one back through former Arsenal player, Santi Cazorla with a fine volley to get one back for Villarreal on the 43rd minute. There was no goals in the second the score-line won all points for Barcelona,.

Atletico Madrid are still in their fine form into the new season and they were still able to prove quality by winning away from home against Mallorca. A couple of goals was enough to get Atletico a deserved 3 points and the party is not getting close to end for Atletico. Thou, Atletico were reduced to 10 men when Morata was shown a Red card but Atletico were still able to hang onto the 2 goals advantage. Costa and Felix were the goal scorers on 25th and 63rd minutes respectively.

Real Madrid still show class and win ugly if needed. Clinching to another victory again is a massive boost for the Los Blancos. Cruising pass Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu was a way to keep up with the League.
