The last few weeks have made @splinterlands a lot more attractive game through the various changes it made. Most of the changes had a positive impact on my gameplay and investments. One of the best examples of it is coming across 3 Legendary Gold Foil Cards at once.
Only One More Gold Foil Needed
That would result in my first Max Level Gold Foil Card and third Max Level Card overall. The ability to use Alchemy Potions and Legendary Potions to 2X chances has been incredibly helpful. Receiving multiple similar Cards makes Leveling up easier and faster. Having the Legendary and Gold Foil Cards being spread around has lead me to Rent them instead of using them. Such actions would be less necessary moving forward.
Leveled Up Kulu Mastermind
Terraceous Hulk is not the only Legendary Card that has become very useful lately. Kulu Mastermind even in its current form can be an extremely formidable Monster in some Rulesets.

The Ranked Ratio is one of the worst performances I have had despite this Season being a very Rewarding one for me. The final day of the Season was the first time I purchased Energy with DEC.
My initial impression is that purchasing Energy is not a very good investment. Use this feature at moments where you need some Energy to earn few extra Focus Points to reach the next Reward Chest before Day or Season end.

@splinterlands can easily grow 5X and have room left for even more growth. Keep this fact in your mind when making investment decisions.

I have sold the liquid SPS Rewards for HIVE. The rest is staked and earning over 22% APR. My target price for SPS is $5. That is where I would be rushing to sell (these targets may change based on future information). 2500 SPS at such a price would be worth a real high paying job. All that is needed from me is delayed gratification and having fun on the HIVE blockchain.
Did you know that STEEM users could earn ~200 HUNT per day for logging in to STEEM Hunt during the Airdrop. I was one of the users who happily claimed and HODLed. When I sold most of my HUNT, it was nearly 2X of current price. Even at current prices, 200 HUNT is $80 and all that was needed was less than a minute, 4 times a day.
This could be SPS. This could be the Cards you earn playing the game. This could be HIVE, LEO, GLX and many other Tokens and NFTs you can earn or get Airdropped for being a part of the active community.
When you invest your time and effort into little things, keep a chart like the one above plastered in your mind. It can serve as a reminder of long term consequences of small things we do over short periods of time.
