I managed to get a photo of the beast while not attached to my left side!
She has been curling up in the corner like this for a few days. There's an LED off to the right that she likes to get near at night. Of course I had to move her food to this spot because she's a lazy girl.

This still lines up with my theory that cats are solar-powered. That's why they always seek out sunny spots, or in this case, a spot where she can absorb the light from the LED lamp.

She's a strange one. She typically prefers hard surfaces and something near a corner, so a corner on the floor is just right. She'll get bored with that and go find another strange spot.
