Initially ''Beast Of No Nation'' was made available only on Netflix, with the film being released on big screen for few cinemas. Therefore, this has made few people not to get a glimpse of how awesome the film is potrayed. While Hollywood would have told the same story through the eyes of a member of the UN or a journalist, the director, Fukunaga shows us the real sufferings and highlights of the real protagonists of the tragedy about a young boy (Agu) who becomes a child soldier as his country goes through a horrific war.
Movie: Beast Of No Nation (2015)
Genre: War, Drama

Synopsis: As civil war rages in Africa, a fierce warlord (Idris Elba) forced a young orphan (Abraham Attah) to join his group of soldiers in a war-torn West African country.
Review: Although, the movie does look very much like a documentary, but above all it is an important film, aimed at awakening the consciences, violence, drugs, rape .... Yet it is on a note tinged with hope and optimism that Agu's story ends. After seeing the movie, i can say "Beasts of No Nation" plunges us into the African jungle and into the terrible daily lives of child soldiers. The power of the film is also in the strong contrast between the beautiful bright colors of nature and the dark destinies that unfold before our eyes.
With the exception of Idris Elba, most of the actors in this film aren't well known or a top notch actors, but i will definetely give a special mention to Abraham Attah (Agu) for whom it was his first ever film. His performance is absolutely formidable and overwhelming. "Beasts of No Nation" is a brave and hard-hitting film, and undoubtedly one of the best movie in 2015. it's a definite recommend from me if you haven't seen this movie.
