Lots going on in episode 2. Mother has just sent the Ark of Heaven crashing into Kepler-22b and kidnapped 5 new children to join her family. We also see Mother bring back Father, discover some creatures on the planet and also a flashback to the story of two humans back on earth before the Ark left earth.
The flashback was kind of interesting. We find out that two people stole identities of Mithraic soldiers and snuck onto the Ark. I liked how they weren't Mithraic and didn't believe in the religion, saying that they'd need to fake it on the Ark. Could be important later on the in the series.
The creatures were kind of creepy. Not sure what exactly they were doing, seemed like they were after the child but then when they found the passed out soldier, they pushed him and ran away. There have been no creatures present during the previous 12 years on Kepler-22b so I'm guessing that they came from the Ark.
Two episodes in I'm really enjoying this show.
