Boomidity boomidity boomidity boom! Another week and another Tuesday upon us which can only mean one thing, another three tunes from me and hopefully from lots of ye. How are all of you music loving rockers from Moscow to Maam Cross? It's a time of the week when lovers of music, tunes and craic bring their blockchain community three of their finest and brightest tunes to share and celebrate, so lets roll on.

This will be my 59th week waxing lyrical for Three Tune Tuesday. It started off with me just sharing tunes into the void, but little by little others joined and now I'm thrilled that we have a little corner of Hive where we come and share our tunes every Tuesday, long may it continue. I almost stopped posting the songs and thoughts a few times, but I stuck with it and now interestingly it is my favorite thing about Hive. I love music and now I have a network of folks around the world who love music too and we share our tunes and catch up with each others tunes and discuss them each week. We get Pop, Metal, Rock, Gospel, Folk, Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Reggae, Bippy bappidy Flange Hop. Ok I made that one up, but you get the idea, we are all learning about new artists, bands, back stories and sure isn't it just mighty!

We are adding New posters and retaining our core of regulars here on #TTT which is fantastic. Let's keep it growing and that playlist that @blackdaisyft is updating (when she gets time) will hit the 500 mark in no time. Thank you for doing that by the way daisy, when you do find time, as I like throwing on the playlist from time to time reminding myself of all of the sweet tunes that have been shared down through the months - Good on you.

Weekly, I try to find an hour or two to listen to all of the fantastic music shared from like-minded folk from around the globe. This has lead me to genres I don't know well and to some amazing new bands and artists and has even introduced me to some musical instruments I did not know existed.

I hope you enjoy the tunes - be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below and above all else, please enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - smile at a stranger, rub a dog, be a nice human to someone who was not expecting it - peace out.

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

Here are my week fifty nine recommendations for Three Tune Tuesday

** Drum roll please.....**

Crystal Fighters - At Home

I remember my sister recommending this band to me and I remember instantly liking them. She had seen them at a festival and thought they might be a band I'd enjoy and right she was.

The band is made up of a mix of English and Spanish musicians. The group name is unusual and so is it origin which comes from an unfinished Opera written by band member Stockley's grandfather. The Opera was called "Crystal Fighters" and her Grand-dad was what some may call an estranged man and was deemed to be a madman by his peers and others.

He had penned the Opera during his final months of insanity. She had happened upon the manuscript when clearing out his little house in Spain and quickly became obsessed by the intriguing scrawls that he had put down on paper.

She shared it with her musical friends and they were all equally intrigued by the contents and they decided to form a collective which they called Crystal Fighters after the unfinished Opera.

"We started writing music around the book and learning about Basque culture and how the music and history has evolved. From there we decided we wanted to finish the opera and do a live show that would get across some of the amazing, crazy...stuff that was in this book. So we crafted this live show around the book and wrote new music based on its directions and looking at Basque music as a whole."

She explained in an interview.

Here is a listen to the first track I have to share, which looks to be based on the story of looking through here Grand-dad's house and belongings after his death and happening upon the manuscript in the box at the end.

Crystal Fighters - Plage

Another happy little ditty from Crystal Fighters. Wrap your ears around this one and let me know what you guys think. Hopefully they are new to a few of ye and you enjoy the tunes.

It's not easy to put a finger on what genre they fall into. Their style is probably best described as a fusion of genres with Basque folk, synths, punk and indie all mixed up together in a big pot of sounds - I hope you like the stew.

Crystal Fighters - You & I

I will leave you with this one about the talking tree and the faithful bird who sticks by her Woody friend right to the bitter end. It's a pretty cool song, but it's definitely a song that works even better once you have seen the music video at least once. Enjoy my friend and I'll see you again next week for three more tunes.

These are lively and amazing songs from the crystals fighter. The name is weird but I think it fits their band.

I couldn't pick one or two but all as I enjoyed listening to them. These are beautiful tunes on a Tuesday.

Liked that playlist . Should be an interesting mix of genres. You are gathering speed now bud. Plenty of entries every week.

Am still drooling at your bloody badboy post that I saw this morning thank you very much, so I am going to order a munchie box for our dinner tonight as a treat!
