I chose the YouTube option because, apart from being one of the few Web2 social networks that I still use today, I believe it has great potential. Especially when it comes to advertising, since most people will mostly choose to consume content in video format before anything else. There is also the advertising and announcements section, which can serve as indispensable tools to reach a specific audience much more interested in a new platform like Ecency.
Instead of being intrusive videos, they would be well-made advertising videos with a friendly voice that easily convinces the viewer or user to try and register. You can even choose which audience to target by selecting their tastes, ages, and interests. Besides, we're talking about the largest and most popular video platform on the entire internet, so there's a much greater potential reach than the other options, in my opinion.
Sure, Reddit might help attract new users who are blogging enthusiasts and such, but I think it hasn't yet fully exploited the potential of other social platforms like YouTube they can do. Although they may seem intrusive at first, the ads made for YouTube about Ecency are sure to attract a lot of attention from objective people.
