Wow, that Canon is a cannon! 🤭
I was undecided between that model and my current Panasonic DC-TZ 90. In the end I decided to try Panasonic for no particular reason. They both seem to be equally good and with awesome Zoom capabilities.

Interesting, we must've had similar price points when camera shopping. If I had a DSLR, it would just be a museum piece not to be touched. Even this sub $300 camera, I carefully guard as if it were made from precious gemstones.
$300 can go a long way in the developing world, but will barely pay rent in Suriname. Well, you good probably give me some pointers too, I bet you've used your camera much more than me. I take 95% of my pictures with my phone, and it's always satisfied me.

Yeah, same thing here. It's almost impossible to find anything to rent for less than 400$ now... and that will only give you a shared room inside someone else's home. 🙄
You should try to use the camera more often, then. Smartphones are good but a camera like this is still light years ahead!
