That might be right, and I'll have a look at it too, but I do not know what our customs will say to medications from the states. Last month I bought a cap for my daughter which has cost about 25 Dollars. When I got it I had to pay the Austrian tax and another fee, what made the price rise to about 60 Euros including shipping ... for a baseball cap!
So next time I will think twice before I order something overseas ;)

A !BEER has to be cold and a !COFFEEA has to be hot to taste good and not !DERANGED 😉

Holy smokes! Dang, yeah I would think several times before ordering overseas! Sounds like they want to discourage anyone from doing that.

We have to pay 20% tax and when I buy something from the United States I still have to pay our tax here. Of course you have to think twice when you make such a purchase, but sometimes you have to make your kids happy too without counting the money :)

That must have been one cool hat! Wow though...20% tax just on your country's stuff! That's extremely high.

Just a black baseball cap with a name on it. I even cannot remember that name ;)
20% is the normal tax - for food we pay 10%.

Since the price tags here always show the full price including tax it is no problem. It would be worse if they would tag the products like you do and add the tax at the checkout I believe.

Well sir that is true. The way they show the entire price over there is nice of them and saves them from having to take the items back to the shelf when people can't afford them!

So you never know the real price you'll have to pay of something you want to buy, unless you know the tax laws of the country you are in? And maybe at the checkout you will find out that you cannot afford it? That's weird, but I have already heard of that before and I think you are used of it, but tourists are certainly surprised when they go shopping ;)
