That's a cool idea - learning the language of the countries you want to visit, at least the most important phrases plus some more, just to be better than the average tourist who can order a drink and ask for the way ;)

These phrases / questions have been quite polite German and Austrian. You can say them in northern Germany as well as in the south of Austria, where I am 🙂

That is very good sir johannpiber. And I assume that you can put these phrases somewhere online and they will say them out loud so the pronunciation is correct?
I believe there might be some pages where you can paste German phrases in and listen to the correct pronunciation, but at the moment I don't know any. If I should find such a page I will tell you, of course 🙂
