No, the work works without me too ;) A few years ago I had intervertebral disc problems and a lot of pain so I couldn't work for a few weeks. My colleagues have been very kind to do almost all of my work, and when I came back to work there was not so much to do :)
We get a raise every year anyway 🙂

Only a few bucks, less than the costs we have, which become higher every year, but better than nothing.
I have had a physical therapy twice a week which helped me a lot and I haven't had any problems since.

Well that's dang-near a miracle! Your back being healed from that. That's great news. That calls for a beer!
I don't know if it was a miracle, but the therapist helped me to be pain free again, and since then I haven't felt this really !DERANGED bad pain again 🙂

The pain was very !DERANGED bad - it was like a knife that stuck in my left arm and got turned around all day long.
