On today's hike I visited the nearby eucalyptus grove. A tiny aromatic forest in between suburban settings. This particular tree had a nice deep red-brown bark that I took an example photo for one of my customers.
The red sap of eucalyptus is called kino and has various medicinal purposes. So does most of the plant. Such as, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and anti-oxidant purposes. Many of my customers buy leaves for flu and cold remedy purposes but mostly for aromatherapy purposes I think.
I've yet to use it for much but it is nice to know I have plenty on hand.
I am not sure why @actifit keeps flipping my images on their side.. I checked the images on my end and they are right side up on every other software I use.
