Holiday Season Thoughts & Covid Lockdown

in #palnet3 years ago

This holiday season is going to be an interesting one as we're all dealing with Covid-19 lockdowns (at varying degrees). For almost a year, the citizens of this planet have been under these measures and it sure has taken a toll on all of us yet there may be a silver lining.

During the holiday season and as we inch closer to new years, the world tends to smile a bit more, which is what we need. We need more laughter and more smiles. Yet, this season is different. We all can't do what we normally would do, and we all can't prepare as we normally would. Things have changed and it has led to the separation of families and the loss of loved ones... Yet, it also gives people an opportunity to see what is really "worth it" in this world.

Should people take a risk or be afraid? Its a question people need to ask when they're going about their days. Should I visit my mother today? Taking a chance with a virus... Taking a chance with time... Some say the decision is easy or hard. This virus has put the world in a predicament but I think as time goes on, the virus teaches us about what is truly valuable in this world.

Is our existence valuable or our relationships while existing? This holiday season, no matter how you spend it, will teach us a lesson. The lesson may not be clear but those around us are valuable... And so are you!
Keep smiling, keep laughing, and share the love even from afar!

Stay safe and best wishes to all!
