I came across some more mosaics in the city

This past week on one of my walks I decided to go and have a closer look at the Williamsburg Bridge and to get there I took the F Train from Bryant Park to the Delancy and Essex Street Subway Station and came across these murals I had not seen before and thought to get some shots of them as I thought they would be fine for an entry for Beautiful Sunday By @ace108, and Sublime Sunday, created by @c0ff33a,

These Murals are by artist Ming Fay and were a cool find,starting with this shot on one of the stairwells.

I was on the Brooklyn-bound side of the station and there is a mural of fish called Shad Crossing. Shad are a type of fish in local waterways around New York City.

Another shot of the same mural from another angle, Such a big piece with lovely colors and details, I have never done any mosaic art myself, and to be honest, art is not something I have a talent for I can barely draw a stick figure let along consider doing a mosaic piece of art, nut I am always impressed by the talent of artists who do pieces like this.

And the last mural I got a shot of on the visit to the station, this one is on the manhattan bnound side of the station and I got this shot as I was heading back to midtown and the office.

This mural is titled Delancey Orchard and includes many cherry trees. At one time the Delancey family owned a farm in the area that contained a cherry orchard, and this mural commemorates that history.

These are a lot of tiles to put together, but they are certainly masterpieces which you captured them beautifully my friend.
Last days, last week - I wished I could say the same, but I'm happy with you 😊

Explained in a few words:
Members have the opportunity to mark a good post or comment, then comes a tool and makes a vote, so the SP can be divided among as many users as possible and even small users can assign large votes

I like how the murals brighten up and bring color to the space. Those fish are huge! Must have taken hours/days to complete . I admire such talent as these and great shots too!

Those are really awesome. I like the fish ones the best I think. It is kind of cool how they make it like an aquarium without all of the upkeep.
