I check on my witness votes once in every few months. After the news of @justinsunsteemit and Tron buying Steemit Inc, I decided to check back on my witness votes. It turns out that some of the good people/teams I had voted for have disabled their witness or they are running an older version and not producing blocks for STEEM. I've unapproved five of them so far and gave my approval for @anyx
Thank You for Your Service!
The bear market can be harsh. The STEEM price fell about 98%. on top of that things come up in life and people get busy. Although I remove my vote I have to thank you for taking time to at least care about the STEEM blockchain and wish everyone best of luck!
Support @anyx for Improved Decentralization
STEEM relies on the infrastructure built by Steemit Inc to a great extent. So far @anyx has done a lot to truly decentralize things. You can read about his SPS proposal for more information He is also the person behind @cheetah bot which can sometimes over $200 per day to maintain.
Don't Cry About Problems; Take Action
There isn't enough SP being utilized to vote for witnesses. The result is that the Steemit Inc stake can be used to vote top replace all of Top 20 witnesses. DPoS is designed to give you power proportional to the stake you own. It is your responsibility to use. Go ahead and vote for few people at https://steempeak.com/me/witnesses or similar interface.
Recommend Me Some Good Witnesses
- I have five votes remaining.
- I like to keep a mix of Top 20 and backup witnesses.
- I like a mix of developers and "community guys".
- Tell me in brief what each candidate has done.
Happy Steeming!
