Meat eating plants at the botanical garden in Praha

As I already told you in a former post some days ago I really love meat eating plants since they are something special in the plant world. They show that nature can adapt very good and on soil where the plants get very few nutritients they have developed another method of getting their nutritients that they cannt get from the soil. When I visited Praha in late summer last year I saw these nice meat eating plants at the botanical garden in the tropical section. So if you like plants and nature and visit Praha I can recommend this place for a visit.

Not only the meat eating plants but also a lot of other plants there are worth to be seen. I also really liked the part in the garden with all the Bonsai trees and the japan garden there a lot. The botanical garden there is devided in several sections and there is a tropical greenhouse for the heat loving plants.

Oh nice, I heard it is difficult to hold since they need rainwater instead of tap water, how do you handle it?

By giving them rain water 🤣
