A Jane Bond? Should the iconic 007 be passed unto a woman? Do you agree with Brosnan?

Hollywood Reporter recently made a publication where one of fans, and myself, favourites James Bond(007) Pierce Brosnan stated that the time is right to pass on the legendary role to a woman. The Tweet by Hollywood Reporter Handle wasn't welcomed well by fans and myself inclusive.

To me, its just like asking for Batwoman in place of Batman. Another angry Twitter fan said Pierce was probably high on something. A separate 006 could be created which if marketed correctly could be accepted worldwide like 007 characters.

What happened to seasoned British Actors who could fill that role? Do they cease to exist? I pondered on each replies to the viral Twitter publication which is still going with debates and bashing for our dear Brosnan who might have declare this out of some publicity stunt.

Jane Bond could be a known star too, but could a man play Mary Poppings?

Whatever was going on in Mr.Brosnan's mind when he said this, he got it all wrong as fans like myself won't agree to that in any way, maybe a 006 (Jane Bond) could suffice, maybe not.

What's your take on the 007 legacy to be passed to a woman?
