I have Scottish blood through my great grandfather and always get the chills when I hear the bagpipes, sounds like this was a wonderful event! We do have gatherings here in SA but I have not attended one for ages, time to go next time!

They are wonderful, these events! I get chills too when I hear the bagpipes. They still play them at funerals of policemen here. I thought I have seen it also in England, but, I could be wrong.
If you have the chance, don't miss it. The music alone is amazing and well, it might well be because I love the fiddle and the bagpipes.But, I will go again next year. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your words!
