This is so wonderful, @dswigle. It looks like so much fun! The pictures are so beautiful and I’m amazed by people knitting their own socks to pass the time between games! That old guy is so cute. This is a wonderful view into a world I may never actually experience in person!

Your little kilt comments had me in fits of giggles — whether it’s an advantage or not to wear a kilt while fencing...? Ha ha. Something to ponder! And yes it does sort of eliminate a bit of intrigue to discover when the lad spins that he’s wearing athletic shorts! 😆

Methinks he may be too American to go traditional. It takes a special breed to ummm...lay the jewelry out for strangers. You know, perhaps trust issues.

Actually, I thought this was pretty cool with the guys knitting their own socks too. How many of our men can/will do that? But, it was pretty neat all the way around. I am sure that somewhere you have one too. If you ever get a chance, you should go to one. It is quite entertaining.

And interesting. I learned things I never thought I would want to. And I will add that it was very interesting. :)
