Haha! There are many more traditions in Scotland that keep the kilts on. They still wear them, in fact. So, it is not a matter of maintaining for them. It is still in use.

I do worry about some of our youth and the different cultures. Even Americans. We have living history museums so they can learn how to make soap and spin thread and all the things our pioneer people did. Lest this go into oblivion, never to be retrieved. You are right.
