Wow.. What an informative post! I am mostly Scottish and American Indian. I will some day have to blog about my history a bit here. I get overwhelmed when I think about all that information though. A trip to Ireland and Scotland??!! Yes do it!! Both very beautiful countries. :-)

My great grandmother was part of the Iroquois tribe or confederacy. I have been to several pow-wows over the years. Lots of feathered stuff, jewelry, pottery, leather things bought. been a while since we've gone to one. She was an independent and strong woman who was also quite opinionated. She may have been Penn State's biggest football fan as well. haha.
I'm not that interesting.. just here breathing and trying to make the most out of the time I have been given. Everybody has a little coolness and creativity just waiting to come out I suppose. My puppies think I am pretty cool though.. especially when I'm eating..lol.

Oh my God! You are not a bother and trust me I am not popular! I was just trying to make excuses for not getting around as much as I should. Before your leave of absence I love dropping in on your post because to me, but you always were interesting and it doesn't matter what you think. LOL I hope to be doing more of that and then I am off on another adventure the first week of February for most of the month. I actually do find it quite exciting to be he's just a little bit part Indian but in your case it sounds like quite a bit of Indian. I am sure she was an interesting woman and I am hoping that you took some good photographs of her. Thanks again for your time and your words and trust me, I love hearing you. Pictures are tough.. I may be able to dig up a few.. maybe. She was not a big picture person. hated it.. but i will surely dig through to see. My brother did most of the family tree and research on the tribe, so he may just have something or even gave something to me a while ago. I'll have to do some research of my own I suppose.
