I generally like to work on more complex hand drawn designs and organic shapes, but from time to time it is good to just go back to my raving days and break out the lasers...
For this shot, we stuck a bit of smoke in the air using a vape and then i got my mate Dave to stand in front of the laser (top tip: check no beams are going to hit the lens before you remove the lens cap unless you like fried sensors). I left the laser exposing whilst I lit up the room from behind him using a multicolor torch.
Then I got him to shimmy out of the way and let the laser 'burn through' his chest. Close the shutter and job done.
All shot in one photographic exposure on a Canon 80d and samyang 12mm f2.
