A question you better don't ask

An old couple celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary. They had been together for so long, have 10 grown children and still loved each other very much.

During the ceremony, the old man leaned closer to his wife and told her that something had been bothering him for a long time. The tenth child, Tom, always looked very different from all their other children.

Then he summed up all his courage: "I just have to know, does Tom has another father?" He reassured his wife that her answer would not change his love for her.

The old woman looked down and quietly confirmed her husband's suspicions. He realized that her confession hurts more than he had expected. He hesitated a little and asked who the father of his son was.
The woman remained silent for a long time - then she finally said: "Well, you are the father."
