It's Just Awesome That We Got The Internet For Our Needs

I am sure that I will not be here anymore without this amazing tool that had gone a very basic need now for the people and for myself because it has been my lifeline ever since I was able to make money from the Internet.

I remember a friend who introduced me to a Facebook app where I would solve tasks and get paid 1 to 5 cents or more. It is a crowdsourcing app which I do not know now if it still existing. It was my first time to make money from the Internet although I didn't enjoyed it because of the time pressure needed to solve or work on every tasks which also are scant and few to appear.

It was also the time where I had applied for a debit card which I then linked to my PayPal account. Then after that I was also introduced into a website that lets you earn from every view, likes, and comment you get from your social blog.

It was a fun time and one of the most productive times of my life. I thought that it would never end but the company went bankrupt as policies change plus they got plagued with spammers that also leeched out some money but I really do not know what happened, the company just faded-away and went offline.

The money that I earned I bought with some BTC which I made myself to join of what I thought was a legitimate business but indeed are Ponzi schemes and I never looked back to those after. I also had lost some money from cloudmining sites where I didn't factor-in that the machines are easily get outdated because of the need for a more powerful hashing power.

Then I went on to discover crypto trading where I thought it was a good way to earn only to discover too that there is such a thing like a bear market. So I never did made a day trade again and just held what I have until now.

After that I learned about steem and tried it since I have an idea how to make a social blog. At that point I am really desperate to earn some money because of my worsening health condition plus I do not have any sources of finances anymore. I reached-out to the community and lots of people lend a hand and now I am here, I just enjoy the community and making friends and of course some money for my medical needs. All of these things I had done because of the beauty of the Internet and I think God for all of these.

Sort:

Internet is almost everything

I can relate to much of this. Learning is hard as they say. Sometimes rather painful.

I incurred an injury while the US was in a depression so losing a job meant not having one for a long long long time. I think I've seen everything. Some sites were life savers and yes those matrix sites or other versions of ponzi are bad news. Although I made profit, cashed out just to verify I could and then my dumb butt reinvested it immediately. Yea, flushhh

I am not sure you can do this from your country but they are not exclusive to US. You can get paid cash, no "payment threshold" beside maybe a dollar US if that. The available tasks are sure to be different so I can't know if this is helpful or not but it takes tome to learn the ins and outs of this stuff.
It's MTURK ("Amazon Mechanical Turk"), one of the first and maybe only stable ongoing crowdsource job market. It can be chump change or you might find somethign you like doing that can be repeated. That's how to make worthwhile extra income although I usually do research studies posted by universities when I have free time bc they are interesting an I don't have to go through detailed instructions that consume time.

When options are few, ppl have an uncanny way of finding a way to make it work. When I had a dire need and no other options I've pulled an extra 88 USD from there in a month. Some do much more but they may be advanced qual's which only open after doing 1000's of tasks. If you can make something of it, use browser plugins like Turkopticon and M Turk Suite. Don't mind the premium offer. It's still useful to check and contribute free reviews on both of these while selecting HIT's (tasks).
After all that you probably already know this but I didnt want you to miss it if not.

I think it's mturk.com That is NOT a referral link btw. There have been others similar but were never worthwhile to me.
