I and Members of the Sociopolitical group I belong to called Akwa Ibom Liberated Movement were at the Victor Attach International Airport earlier today to receive the State Governor Udom Emmanuel, who was not in town but returned today. We left for the Airport at about 10:30am and on getting there, we were told the Governor was on his way. After about 20mins, The State Governor arrived. We were so happy to receive him and he was excited as well to find out that we were expecting his arrival. The Brass Band that we took there starting playing different songs and the women who went there with us where dancing to the songs while praising the Governor.
The Governor addressed us shortly and after that he drove out with his entourage and we also drove back too. It was fun as we came back to some refreshments while the Governor passed to the Governors Lodge.
