You need to find your core competencies and strengths in 2020, and bolster them.
Many people focus on being a jack of all trades, but become a master of none. Being a generalist can bring mediocrity.
Instead of throwing all of your energy into fixing your weaknesses, throw it at improving your strengths. We only have so much energy, and it is imperative to use it to grow in fertile soil where our own strengths can flourish.
If you are a superstar at mathematics, grow this skill. If you are a great track star, put all your time and energy into that talent.
Keep pushing in 2020. Find one or two areas in which you excel and committ to being an expert in those skills this year.
