No, but this is basically cyber bullies, so their reason may only make sense to themselves. This kind of downvoting burned down a lot of good people on steemit, causing a number of long time friends to just leave.

I worry it will have similar results here. I was going to post tonight, and decided not to take the time.

I have posted fault free for Years, and I don't see what was wrong myself. I suspect that there was nothing wrong with either post, they may have simply wanted to censor the idea presented.

That's how it started on steemit, and whale accounts fought each other into oblivion. Apparently, that's preferable to debate!

I have to decide if it's worth my time, right now, I'm not sure!

I haven't posted since this, it has removed the enjoyment of posting! I have a lot of information to post, but it just doesn't seem worth the effort.

I'm thinking about a webpage for teaching instead. Unless something changes my mind, I will never go back to daily posts here. I HATE politics!!!!!

I'll keep monitoring, but generating new seems pointless. Hive may follow steemit over these whales out of control!

You were downvoted because xeldal upvoted you. Simple. You were collateral damage in a war between two whales. I have been blacklisted by a certain very powerful whale for complaining about this, and about a couple other actions by whales that harm smaller accounts. I also have been wondering why you stopped posting. I miss you! How is your wife?

Sorry, been busy and being ground up between whales doesn't seem fun.

Sadly, I lost her to a hospital acquired infection in mid April. After 52 years, I can't protect her anymore.... It will give me more time to work on the homestead.

Seriously looking at building my own web site for the information I was posting here. Then I don't have to put up with whales!

Oh I am so sorry!! Was she able to come home at all? I know how devoted you were. and how hard you must have worked those last days. I wish you beautful memories of her, and fruitful days on your homestead. Do you have anyone to share it with? This empty house gets to me sometimes. Thank goodness I have my pets. I'm assuming you still have your dachshunds, those loveys.

The whale business is soo disturbing, gives Hive a very bad look. I could not believe it when they did it to you.

I could have treated the infection, but they wouldn't allow it. It had already attacked her brain, so there was no point in pushing it further. Part of my heart went with her!
