This is why Hive works! Your work will be always veerryyy much appreciated!

I am not going this year, for personal financial reasons, and because like anyone else, I would not like to use my stake on the platform to pay for my trip, not because of the low price, but also because I would need to find more beneficial reasons for Hive to counterbalance spending that amount.

All my past HiveFests were self-participated and financed. I went for my own pleasure and interest. And I don't ever expect that to be reimbursed, obviously.

But one day, I know things will start counting... and when that time comes, either because of reputation reasons or because I find a reason or project that pays for that, I will go for more than just pleasure. Having that said, I always do some "work" on helping Hive people on HiveFests, and that's just because it feels right, and because it's what I do already, on HiveFest or not.

But rest assured, if one day my reputation attracts an investor or enough explorers that counter my spending, I would feel more than ok going with my or anyone’s Hive money. There are also other ways to provide value, and I know that. But there are already too many smart people around who can do that bit. And I am getting old LOL...

Anyhow, hope everyone going has a lot of fun! I would definitely go if I was around Europe... Would probably do like arcange and do a bike roadtrip.

This is also a great reason to prepare for @hivefest XII, as I suspect I would have enough financial freedom to go, pending Wife approval, obviously. But she is always very keen on my going... 💖
