Supporting The HIVE Communities

in #hive4 years ago (edited)

It is human nature that we expect mutual support especially when we help others first.

When we expect a return for the help we give, it is no longer giving but it is an exchange.

When we give without expecting a return, it is true giving.

When the receiver decides to give something in return, it becomes a bonus rather than exchange.

There were many people on the platform would upvote others so that they may get upvotes.

Exchanging upvotes would no longer be genuine upvotes of affirmation for the good content but it is like trading.

Hive has the potential to be great and we can support the valuable communities without expecting a return with our little upvotes and each upvote given can become a nice collective upvotes.

Some communities that I am supporting

I have recently delegated HP to two valuable communities, @education-hive and @hodlcommunity.

@hodlcommunity is new and it has a great intention behind to promote and support crypto-related articles. I rarely write about cryptocurrency so the delegation will benefit those who write quality crypto-related articles but their articles are undervalued.

I have supported @education-hive in my own little ways since I was on steem platform. As an educator, education rests strongly within my heart. Education can change lives.

@education-hive promotes educational articles that can empower educators and parents with knowledge to change the lives of the younger generations.

@tribesteemup has caught my attention and I supported it with my little upvotes since it was actively supporting its selected content creators on steem platform. It has rebranded itself as @abundance.tribe on HIVE and it would continue to support content creators based on its 8 pillars of values.

I am not a member of @abundance.tribe but I have recently joined its discord. @abundance.tribe wants to support content creators in making a more peaceful, harmonious and lovely world.

@kennyskitchen, the founder of @abundance.tribe, had shared about the 8 pillars of @abundance.tribe last year.

Reframe Your Mind Of Support

I would like to encourage those who manage to read this post to support good valuable communities on HIVE platform by changing our mindset.

I have never powered up to become a dolphin when I was on steem platform.

I powered up within the few days after the official formation to Hive and I am currently supporting many new content creators on HIVE with my HIVE power.

Support communities without the intention that we must get back something from them.

Be a true giver and supporter so that we can build HIVE to become the great platform that many of us desire to see.

With each support that we give out, we are putting a brick to our tower that may reach the sky with greater future opportunities.

Forsake short-term gain for long-term benefits that can help everyone on this wonderful platform.

I do hope you find this short post inspiring.

I have written it exclusively to be posted only on HIVE platform since I felt inspired to write about it.

Find communities that we can support and give without expecting a return with a true spirit of giving.
