It's been a while since I wrote in this community, but I had this really frustrating game experience that it has become so funny. I can't just keep it to myself so allow me to share this stuff here.
Last weekend, in hopes of relieving my stress from work, I downloaded this Otome game (it's like a love simulator game mostly for women) called PICKA. I used to play a lot of otome games in the past but recently, I've been more into MOBA or RPG... but for some reasons, I wanted it to be different last week.
The game is chat style similar to Mystic Messenger, but it's more interactive because you get to play games, solve some mystery together and win 1:1 chat or even date with the person you're interested in.
I was so into it especially because one of the characters named Euntae Cha is my ideal. hahaha It's so funny because I remember someone in him. Their way of thinking and how they act are really similar. So, I tried pursuing him in the game.
We had our movie date and had a lot of chances for 1:1 chats because aside from me choosing him, he also chooses me every time he gets the chance.
However, despite the closeness... this is a game so we need to purchase stuff to increase our "lovey points" and get a happy ending. BUT, I don't want to spend money on games and I've used up all the free coins to open more episodes quickly... and as expected, it ended up badly.
I tried the time leap option and tried the game again because I want to pursue the other guys and know how the story would differ. I'm still expecting a bad ending since I didn't purchase love points. I'm trying to save some coins because in the future, I want to check out the happy endings and normal endings. So far, I've opened two endings.
I tried pursuing the character Doha and guess who chose me in this AU?
It's freaking Euntae Cha!!! hahaha
I'll pursue either Jooyul or Chunsung next to see the bad endings. lol And once I gather enough coins to buy love points and gifts, I'd definitely go back to Euntae. LOL I just don't give up, don't I?
Well, the game itself wasn't the frustrating part. It was the situation that reminded me of the past. I just laugh at it now, but really...
Do you get that feeling when you and the person you like were having a blast... you both opened your heart to each other and spend most of your time together and then, something happened and changed everything?
It could make you question... "Did you even like me?" haha But personally, I knew he liked me... but didn't like me enough to continue what we had. Sad, isn't it? I've accepted and gotten over it now...
I enjoy the idea of love and being in love with someone. I think it's cute and the way it makes your heart beat faster is refreshing. However, I don't think the same when it comes to relationships. It's difficult to trust and give
your heart out to someone and I don't want to make myself live in such a dreamy world anymore. haha
Playing otome games can make my heart race just the same. LOL
I really want to get a happy ending especially with Euntae!!! HAHAHA He's literally my dream guy... I know I said he reminds me of someone from my past, but this one in the game is more achievable. I'm tired of putting much effort for someone in real life when I know it'd just go to waste. I just want to focus on myself and my family.
I know that somehow, he wants me to stay in his life... but what for???
He's only good with words anyway... hahah
Even if he puts in more effort, I don't think it'll work at all.
Well, I'm not closing my heart completely.... I still adore the thought of being in love... but I guess, I'm just in love with the thought of it. ^^
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh~ Euntae Cha!!! Wait until I gather enough coins!!!! LOL
