Surprise in the post

Oooooooh what could it be? Solid wooden box. Quite weighty.

I am not ranting or complaining here, just talking talking about my surprise package. It nearly killed my wife waiting for me in suspense wondering what was in the package.

So it turned out to be from Router vendor Juniper who invited me to an automation virtual showcase and as part of the registration they asked for our addresses - little did I know that they were going to ship me this lovely bottle of red. They know me well too, as red is always my tipple.

It wasn't just any old bottle of wine either, but a 6 year old bottle in a nice case, with a bottle cork and wine opener, all around a nice touch. These are the kind of showcases I like to be invited to! It is on tomorrow and I'll be interested to hear about their Mist platform for automation.

I'm also interested to know whether the 2016 Bordeaux is a nive bottle, I may just have to check on Friday evening when the kids are gone to bed.

I might even do a part II post as well to update you guys about the Vino Tinto and the Automation in a few days time.

Damn dude that looks amazing! I'd love to go to places where they give you shit like that hahaha. I love wine boxes though, looks like these guys did it right! We have some great wine boxes from Italy and one from around here but we won't get rid of them, they are handy and just look cool. Nice cork and opener as well. You'll have to let us know after Saturday's hangover how it tasted lol

Somehow missed this one man! Just caching up on a few replies while I have a few mins free.. I still haven't opened it, maybe this Friday evening.... I'll let you know what it is like... Ya I like to hold onto boxes like this, but will try and find a practical use for it for storing something in a cupboard or the like..
