Here's another little fun thought that I was wondering which was influenced by a previous post where I was calculating how much Weedcash I would need to pay my rent (and food) per month, assuming the price was stable and the volume held its value. Today, I'm going to calculate at the current price (~$0.02655 USD per WEED) how much WEED would I need to buy for certain items.
- Typical blunt wraps (~$1.50) would be 56.50 WEED.
- A gallon of Milk (~$5) would be 188 WEED.
- Full tank of Gas (~$30) would be 1,130 WEED.
- Pizza and Wings for the munchies (~$40) would be 1,507 WEED.
- A new cellphone (~$150) would be 5,650 WEED.
The price compared to last time has improved. The value has increased from $0.01664 USD to $0.02655 USD per WEED, which is an increase of ~60%. Sadly the volume of Weedcash is still relatively low compared to other tokens available on the DEX but overall its still an enjoyable thought to think maybe someday soon Weedcash can be used to buy regular everyday goods, and maybe someday pay some rent.
