Life doesn't always go the way we want it. I mean... if it did, wouldn't it be boring?
According to a Maroon 5 song, "It's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along" That, for sure, is true. We have to go with the flow and adjust to a new environment. However, I'm not saying that we have to conform to the standards of society. We are our own person, but we still need to get along with others in order to survive.
Oh well, I was just saying.
In this post, I'm going to share some shots I took of our roses in my mama's garden. I took them using my smartphone Samsung A50s plus my macro lens and edited them on PhotoScape.
In my title, I said, "Life is Like a ROSE... Thorny, yet Beautiful <3" and I strongly believe so. It's just that I have had a lot of experiences in the past that I thought I wouldn't be able to survive. Despite that, I still enjoy life. I believe it's beautiful and I'm lucky enough to experience it.
Life isn't scary... consequences to our wrong decisions are. If we make the right choices, then it would be all good. However, I think the "right decisions" aren't always the best.
People always say that we should decide using our brain and not our heart, but would that make us genuinely happy? That... I wonder.
I am an emotional person, but I try to balance my decisions with logic. Sometimes, I make decisions which I think are right, even if I don't feel very good about it. It's frustrating to be in such a case, isn't it? What's important is that I won't regret anything, though sometimes unavoidable. I believe it's better to regret something you did rather than regret something you never did.
In the end, let's endure this thorny life because we'd eventually blossom. Patience and constant hard work, dedication, a little bit of luck... and we'll become beautiful roses. ^^ Let's live, laugh and love! Enjoy every moment and continue to look at life in a more positive way. <3
