In the past, specially if you were a country with a coastal line, points like this one were very important.
Those were different times and having the control of your coastal lines were very important for the safety and security of the whole kingdom.
Thankfully those times are behind us and in the biggest majority of the World there is peace. But we can't forget that is still not the case for many territories in our planet. After all the history we left behind humanity should have learned better. It is time to put an end to all these battles for territories. We have evolved and we should be better than all these generations from centuries ago.
Take that into your life
Instead of taking that view and ideas to such destructive roles, just take it to your personal life and to your personal goals. Have a hide and broad view of everything that is ahead of you, but instead of thinking about destroying it, protecting it or conquering it, think about discovering it add your experience to whatever it comes your way and absorb from what you encounter in that journey.
That way it is way more productive and we just make it a better life experience for everyone.
