Hi guys! I've been going through the archive of the portrait session I did a couple of months ago with Camila. I didn't remember that there are still some photos that I hadn't edited, so I decided to download some that we did in front of some of the windows of the location, I thought it would be more suitable to be in black and white, taking advantage of the natural light and the fact that it hits her face and part of her body.
On the left side we placed one of the paintings and chose to try a different composition or scene. I already had the idea from the beginning that they should be in black and white to achieve something more expressive, apart from the scene for the expressions of the model.
Hola, chicos! He estado chequeando el archivo de la sesión de retratos que hice hace un par de meses con Camila. No recordaba que aún hay fotos que no había editado, así que decidí descargar algunas que hicimos frente a unas de las ventanas de la locación, me pareció que sería más idóneo que fuesen en blanco y negro, aprovechando la luz natural y el hecho de que ésta golpee su rostro y parte del cuerpo.
Del lado izquierdo colocamos uno de los cuadros y elegimos probar una composición o escena diferente. Ya tenía la idea desde un principio de que fuesen en blanco y negro para lograr algo más expresivo, aparte de la escena por la expresiones de la modelo.
I always wanted to do portraits with a theme of this type, I liked the photos but I think I could have obtained better results, I do not know if it is because of the type of location, at that time it was 2pm and there was a strong light, maybe my imagination was not so focused at that time, it could be many factors, what is a fact is that the gestures of the model helped a lot.
Particularly when I do portraits I try to obtain two types of results, some that are related to what the model wants and others that I want to achieve, I am very attracted to the human element that transmits emotions, this always makes me want thoughtful gestures and not so smiling, delicate and serene movements rather than something forced.
Siempre quise hacer retratos con una temática de este tipo, las fotos me han gustado pero pienso que pude haber obtenido mejores resultados, no sé si es por el tipo de locación, en ese momento era las 2pm y había una luz fuerte, capaz mi imaginación no estaba tan enfocada en ese momento, pueden ser muchos factores, lo que sí es un hecho es que los gestos de la modelo ayudaron muchísimo.
Particularmente cuando hago retratos busco obtener dos tipos de resultados unos que tengan relación a lo que la modelo desea y otros que yo desee conseguir, me atrae mucho que el elemento humano transmita emociones, esto siempre me hace querer gestos pensantes y no tan sonrientes, movimientos delicados y serenos más que algo forzado.
In this set I can notice that there is a bit of both, we can appreciate photos with usual poses and photos where I could say that it expresses, calmness, tranquility or calmness, that I find attractive and interesting. All this while reflecting on the model light and shadow lines generated by the window.

En éste set puedo notar que hay un poco de ambos, podemos apreciar fotos con poses usuales y fotos donde pudiera decir que expresa, sosiego, estado de tranquilidad o calma, eso me parece atractivo e interesante. Todo esto mientras se refleja en la modelo luz y líneas de sombras generadas por la ventana.
