RE: The beautiful Coastal village of Kinvara in Ireland

Looks quite quaint! My brother in law and his wife are visiting Ireland in a few months. I am quite jealous of him.

Ya it's a lovely little town. Ireland is very popular with American tourists, they'll have a great time, no doubt. Have you ever been?

No, Canada is the only other country I have been to besides the US.

Maybe something to target when you retire? Travelling is amazing. I did a lot of of it in my 20s... USA for 2 summers, Australia for a year, 6 months travelling around Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia with a backpack and zero worries. In Europe I've been to at least half of the countries at this stage and all the well known ones. I hope to get back into the Travelling buzz again when the kids are older and can be left home alone for a weekend and then more Travelling again when we retire. It's a great way to grow and appreciate the world and people of all walks of life.

Yes, probably definitely something we will try to do in the future. My wife has always wanted to go to Italy, so that is certainly on the table.
