A Walk in the Woods
Sundays are always a walk day in our house. Regardless of the weather, we always try to get out for a walk in a forest or the beach or the farm. The fresh air is a tonic for everyone, especially our three young boys and our little Springer Spaniel Coco always loves the weekend adventures too.
It's a great way to spend time together as a family and this time of year when the leaves are falling from the trees is especially nice, with oranges, reds, yellows and browns colliding in a cacophony of colour.
This particular forest walk is adorned with some nice art for the kids to find and enjoy and it is very quiet, we only met 3 people during the two hours, and two happened to be my cousin and her boyfriend, so we chilled and chatted to them for a while. Their two dogs, an Alsatian and a Doberman were beautiful dogs and so well behaved. Even with our little Coco barking at them, there wasn't a peep out of them and they were great with our kids.
There is something soothing, pleasing and satisfying about walking on crunchy leaves and listening to them and feeling them beneath your feet. It's soul food and we all did plenty of leaf crunching today.
Here are some of the photos I took today, which was a bit of a challenge to capture with Coco pulling me from pillar to post on her lead.

#Bath Time
By the time we got back to the car we were all soaked and Coco was soaked and filthy, so she got a bath as soon as we got home. Here she is all clean and happy after her bath. Look at that little faceen!!
That's it from me. Thanks for stopping by
