Photos from my Reel

This post is all about photos and less about words, so forgive me for the lack of the latter and enjoy the visuals of the photos, rather than the colour of my words.

Just a quick word about each photo though, each represents a season here in Ireland, but I have tried to bring the sun and light into each one as well.

The Winter shot is taken from beside my sister's house in Galway, bright and early one December morning, with the fog hanging heavy in the cold morning air.

The Spring shot was captured in April on a clear evening at dusk, as the sun was setting over a lake beside my house in Galway.

The Summer shot was captured in Achill island, off the coast of Mayo a few years ago.

The Autumn shot was captured in the Hill of Tara in County Meath close to where we lived when we were living on the East coast of Ireland.

Great shots. I have been meaning to do a "time lapse" of four seasons taken from the same spot. The problem is that we rarely stay in one place (city / country) for at least a year :D :/

Beautiful, lovely Ireland <3 I'd never heard of Achill Island until now. That shot alone makes it a must see. Phenomenal shots, really. I'm sure the places are all beautiful, but you also have a great eye for photography :)

Thanks so much for the lovely comment. Yes Achill is one of many picturesque havens to be found here in Ireland. I love the islands. I'll be visiting Inis Oir island later this month, another beautiful island off the coast of Galway this time (Achill is off Mayo)

We're blessed really to be able to call such a beautiful island home. I fly home tomorrow and after 10 days away I'm looking forward to it, although the rain upon arrival may well change my mind!
