A right funny bunch!

Ah yes, they think no they're a right funny bunch these do! They somehow found our kids bath toy letters and used them to write crude messages on the floor!

In fact it was even worse than that, as you'll can see, he weed on the floor too!

Zero manners and zero class. Well If ya think Frosty was bad, wait till you see Snowy... That's right, he's only mooning me!

So that's one weeing on our floor, one mooning us, what could Jingle be up to? Bullying Seb that's what, pointing at him and calling him a Fat Sod.

So there you have it for this evening from the little hell raising elves in Chez Ablaze.

What will they get up to next? Who knows, who bloody knows.

Me and my partner were out with a few friends for drinks the other night and the topic of elf on the shelf came up and they asked if we'd be doing it with our son when he gets older. See, I always thought the whole thing was that the elves moved from place to place and had to be found. But, was told that they're also meant to play tricks like this. When I heard that I burst out laughing, I'll 100% be doing this over the next few years as he gets older.

I think it's certainly got some fun elements to it but we never got into it ourselves. It may seem conspiratorial but there’s a notion of the elf being “always watching you” and making it seem like surveillance. It’s weird but to me, I get it.. and that’s why we never did it. Plus I have slight nightmares from the 90’s horror movies “Puppet Master” and I don’t need creepy looking dolls strewn around the house lol

Some funny stuff dude! We never got into the elf on the shelf thing ourselves. Seemed more like “eye in the sky” surveillance type stuff but I do love the humor people work into them! Part of me wishes we did it but at the same time I’m glad I didn’t lol. Love the different iterations you have here!

Ah ya, not for everyone. Our sons get great mileage out of it, so we will keep it going. It's fun, but definitely starting to run out of ideas now like!
