The colours of the country
We live in the countryside surrounded by nature and it is something that I am thankful for. I grew up in a similar area surrounded by nature and I do think that it helps to shape you as a person.
Something which I notice on my early morning daily walks is the new colours as they appear and disappear as the season's shift and do their thing.
Here is a selection of flowers and berries that I captured this morning as I clocked up my usual 5-6km before breakfast.
Mr. Ivy
There is something about this photo that gives the Ivy an almost human character and look. I think it's because it looks like a head of hair or dread locks I think.
My trusty pup
My lovely Springer Spaniel was with me as usual, so I'll have to include a few photos of her chilling in the leaves at dawn.
No Parking
The No Parking signs are quite out of place in this rural environment, but do help to prevent fishermen from parking beside the lake.
I must say these walks are a great way to start off your day. Who knows where today's road will lead us, but nature and exercise can't be a bad start to any day, so I'll continue to embrace it.
