Busy busy busy
August has easily been the busiest month in n ages for us here in Ireland. It's been go to go. It's been tiring. I wouldn't change a thing though, as it's been such fun catching up with friends and family.
We've had barbeques, two bouncy castle parties for the children, one at our house and one at a friend's house. We've had a good friends wedding and night away in Boyne Hill House in county Meath. I've had a stag in Lahinch. I've had a night of madness in Inis Óir. We've had friends staying for a week (2 adults 2 kids) and we have family now for nearly a week (2 adults 3 kids). It's been absolutely brilliant, but oh so tiring. As I said though, I would not change a thing.
A forest Walk
Yesterday we took a trip out to Conamara and went for a really nice long walk in the forest. Luckily the weather actually behaved for a change and it was ideal for having a stroll.
Here are a few photos that I took along the way.
Family Together
It's so nice having my wife's family visiting. Here are a few photos of us all (except me the photo taker) having a Lovely forest walk.
It's true what they say, whoever they are, but the saying is true for me - The best things in life are free. Just spending time together can be taken for granted, so enjoy great company when you have it and be thankful for what you have.
View of the Lake
At the end of our walk we had this beautiful view down over a lake. I just wish I had my swimming gear, as it would have been lovely to get in for a swim.
