I was gonna say I didn't know them, but I immediatly recognised the 2nd and 3rd song, I just didn't know their name πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

Great tunes! I had no idea they were from the 70's era 😊😊

Their music has a timeless element to it and you could easily >imagine these songs being released today, although when you hear >the shite in the charts, you would wonder how much success they >might have?

Totally agree with you! This could easily fall into the timeless songs category πŸ‘Œ although I doubt it would make a big bang nowadays, sadly... most commercial, top shelf records are wayyyy different...

Ya they are masterpieces and the 2nd one is pretty sad and ironic, as less than a month after recording that video and song Curtis took his own life at the desperately young age of 23 - so tragic. He married young, separated, delveoped epilepsy and had an all around awful time of it, only music freed him to express his mind and emotions. That will live on forever in his music.

Yep, def sounds more modern and is an influence on loads of bands in the 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s and 20s...

That's very sad to know... Curtis really had a hard life. But wonderfully left such masterpieces for everyone to enjoy!

Thank you for sharing! 😁
