Three Tune What now?

Right, Ok, now for the benefit of new readers, every Tuesday I pick three songs, sometimes all three from the same artist, sometimes three tunes from a particular genre, other times three songs from a certain country - you get the idea. I've always asked others to get involved and over the past few weeks, that is exactly what's happened, and we now have some ThreeTune regulars which is fantastic! The ask is to basically choose three songs to share. You can sing them or hum them or just pick three from an artist you love like I do, which is what most people do each week.

Here is a link to last week's post - at the end I said that I would pick someone who shared some decent tunes and give them a share in Hive basic income courtesy of me. Once again, we had some top-class entries and new songs for our collective ears, which is class.

Again for the benefit of new readers, are you new to Hive? Are you struggling to get support on those first posts of yours? Have you come back to Hive recently and are struggling in a similar fashion? If so, I would advise you to keep an eye out for competitions that offer you Hive Basic Income shares. John Williams - Hymn to the Fallen @galenkp

Not everyone gets classical music. I believe that unless one plays classical music, they don't really get it or appreciate it until they are a little older, with more grey hairs. That's just my opinion on it. This week @galenkp brings us a trio of tunes that you will firstly recognise as classical pieces and secondly recognise (possibly?) from famous war movies. Pop over and have a listen, these are all well worth a listen.

Ladies Of Soul (with Sheila E) - A Love Bizarre & Drumsolo @nbarrios67

I dare you to listen to these tunes from the Ladies of soul and not want get up and dance your ass off! I bet you will learn something reading through this post from @nbarrios67 too, he knows his music and always brings something that interests me.

Zion Train - Follow Like Wolves @riverflows

@riverflows never disappoints when it comes to tunes and always comes up trumps. Whenever she joins us for #ttt it's always worth dropping in and hearing her tunes of choice and hearing what she has to say about them. This week we get ModeSelektor, Dub Pistols and even the tune that she first met Jamie (her other half) listening to. Go on, head over for listen.

3 Songs by U2 (Part 2)! - (3 Cover Performances!) @jasperdick

You know the drill, go check out @jasperdick's post from last Tuesday. This week, his 49th in a row I might add he brings us three more covers from U2, which he tackles with aplomb and passion as always - a great listen.

Miles Davis & John Coltrane - Kind of blue - @deeanndmathews

@deeanndmathews brings us some of the that sweet sweet jazz and easy vibes as the heat turns up for midsummer.

DAPUNKSPORTIF - Summer Boys @tengolotodo

brings us some good old Portugese rock from a band I had never heard of called DAPUNKSPORTIF, well worth a listen, nice one, these are well worth a listen. If you like Summer Boys which I linked below, let your fingers do the walking over to last week's #ttt post from @tengolotodo.

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb @inthenow

@inthenow the alchemist brings gifts of musical gold for our ears this week with a Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Rush mash up. Wrap your ears around these tunes folks, delicious melodies for your ears.

Nazareth - Gone Dead Train @krazzytrukker

Everyone's favourite Hive Trucker brings us more great tunes for the Open road. No better man to give us some driving tunes that himself and the Kitty Cat listen to while delivering from highway to byway across the United States.

Madness - One Step Beyond @qwerrie

I always thought that One Step Beyond was a Madness original, but it turns out that it's not. Check out this post from @qwerrie where we get three different and diverse versions of this classic Ska tune.

Shall Not Want | Elevation Worship & Maverick City @stevenson7

Our good friend @stevenson7 lifts us up with kind words, positive vibes and beautiful heartfelt music. Regardless of whether you believe in any God or higher being, there is something uplifting about these songs and I certainly enjoyed listening to them.

Our friend @lydiapauline heard these at a recent wedding in Nigeria and knew that these tunes in the Yoruba dialect would perfect for Three Tune Tuesday and I wholeheartedly agree.

The Midnight - Last Train @rt395

Love songs eh? Ya they might not be everyone's cup of tea, but these ones are not cheesy and worth a listen and flow well with what @rt395 has to say.

Well done to all who featured, but there can only be one winner and this week it is @qwerrie. I have loved the song One Step Beyond for a long time, and in my naivety believed it to be a Madness original. Nope. It's not and I learned about it in @qwerrie's post (https://hive.blog/hive-193816/@qwerrie/three-tune-tuesday-114) Go check out the original, it's pure class, although The Madness version will always be my favourite.
