Here are my week one hundred and thirty recommendations for Three Tune Tuesday

** Drum roll please.....**

The Scratch - Cheeky Bastard

Firstly big shout out to my friend on Hive from Wicklow @killerwot a real music man and a proper gent. He's the one that put these guys on my radar quite a while ago what a song called The flaker which I really liked. These guys came up in conversation with a friend of mine who's into his music recently and it led me to checking out their new album Mind yourself which I really like. Here is the second song of the album that came out at the start of November it's called cheeky bastard.

The Scratch - The Road to Ballyshannon

The band The scratch are a Dublin 4-piece band. They're an open common Irish bands and to be honest I don't think too many have heard of them yes. I was put onto them by kilowatt as I said above he probably only knows about them because of how close he is the music scene being in a band himself.

Let's stick with the newest album mind yourself for the second track.

Ok change of plan, Hole in the ground is not actually on YouTube yet so instead I'm gonna go for another tune that I really like that is on YouTube and it's called The Road to Ballyshannon.

This one reminds for very good friend of mine from years ago that I haven't seen in a long time. He's from Ballyshannon in County Donegal and was a great music man in or a great music sham as he'd always say. I hope you're keeping well wherever you are Danny.

There's just something about an instrumental song that 'scratches' an itch for me that a song with lyrics just doesn't quite manage. I think this song from the Scratch is a great example of just that with the accompanying video. Sure have an auld listen there for yourselves.

The Scratch - Another Round

Okay, so I was planning on one more from the new album. This album has been what I like to call a grower, I quite liked it on the first lesson, I liked it more on the second listen and I like it more and more on each subsequent listen, but you'll have to get yourself over to Spotify to listen to the other tracks as I can't find the ones I want to share on YouTube yet.

Another Round is another great track of there's though, so I'll share that instead. Enjoy.

Three Tune Tuesday

That's right, it's Tuesday folks and for our merry little band of ladies and lads, that means sharing tunes, good vibes and engagement. As another week disappears in the rearview mirror, we have loads of engagement and tunes flying around on Three Tune Tuesday and sure isn't that bloody fantastic! I hope you're ready to share three tunes from wherever you find yourself on this magical spinning lump of rock that we all call home and sure you might even sing us a tune if we're lucky?

It's a time of the week when lovers of music, tunes and craic bring their blockchain community three of their finest and brightest tunes to share and celebrate, so let's roll on and let the tunes flow free.

This is my 130th week waxing lyrical for Three Tune Tuesday and we are still going strong.

It started off with me just sharing tunes into what seemed like a void, but little by little others joined and now I'm thrilled that we have a little corner of Hive where we come and share our tunes every Tuesday, and long may it continue. I almost stopped posting the songs and thoughts a few times, but I stuck with it and now interestingly it is my favorite thing about Hive. I love music and now I have a network of folks around the world who love music too and we share our tunes and catch up with each others tunes and discuss them each week. We get Pop, Metal, Rock, Gospel, Folk, Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Reggae, Bippy bappidy Flange Hop. Ok I made that one up, but you get the idea, we are all learning about new artists, bands, back stories and sure isn't it just mighty!

Something that excites me the most is that we even get musicians sharing their covers of famous songs and even their own songs from time to time here on #ThreeTuneTuesday, which is a real favorite of mine, as that takes talent, time and dedication.

We are adding New posters and retaining our core of regulars here on #TTT which is fantastic. Let's keep it growing. Weekly, I try to find four to six hours to listen to all of the fantastic music shared from like-minded folk from around the globe and interact with their posts. This has led me to genres I don't know well and to some amazing new bands and artists and has even introduced me to some musical instruments I did not know existed. It also allows me to upvote smaller accounts and find some really interesting people from all over the world, which is heartening.

I hope you enjoy the tunes - be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below and above all else, please enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - smile at a stranger, rub a dog, be a nice human to someone who was not expecting it - peace out.

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

Makes one feel like need for crazy night out in Irish Pub, loads of fun and laughter.

My #1 is The Road to Ballyshannon with instrumental and vista from cliffs, lone roads with tons of fun on beach.

Lovely share once again, have an amazing week!

How ya Joan. Glad that you enjoyed the tunes, these guys are going places, they have something authentic and unique about them and I hope they do well. They are doing a US tour in 2024.

Authentic original sound will take them a long way, hope you able to see them live too.

Isn't it Wednesday?

Or is my calendar a day forward 😭😭😭

Nice tunes though ✨✨🔥🔥

Sssshhhhhhhh..... :)

I was up on Wednesday morning at 5am, so had to go to bed early and did not get a chance to post on Tuesday evening as usual, so had to delay it a few hours...

What did you think of the tunes?

They were great tunes as usual mate 😂😂😂

They are quite good! I hadnt heard of them before but that first one above is awesome

Ya they are decent aren't they, I'll be keeping an eye out for them gigging in Galway. They are doing a European and US tour shortly, and were on the Late Late Show recently, so things going in the right direction for them it seems..

The Scratch are a great band, and I'm glad you like them man, and I was able to introduce you to them. I've listened to so many of their songs. They done a good cover of Aeirals - System of A Down with the - I think - RTE Orchestra - which was sick.

Another Round quickly became one of my favourites of theirs when I first heard it, such a great song, and the video is pretty sick too.

Also, not quiet Dublin haha I'm from county Wicklow, but close enough

Never heard of this band before. I will have to check them out a bit more now!

Nice one @bozz They are well worth the listen and chances are nobody over your way will have heard of them, so you can impress the nieces and nephews with some new found tunes..

This is definitely great music that I didn't know about until today. Cheers brother, I'll be back to enjoy people's recommendations. What I've loved most about this band besides their sound are the music videos. Music wise I'm very visual as well and most of the songs I love have come to me through the videos... I don't particularly like instrumental music, although I have certain exceptions with the electronic genre and music that stirs the peace of my mind like The Road to Ballyshannon, which I have already downloaded. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just realised I forgot to mention you in my post, but well, here I am and I hope to remember you on future occasions...

This is definitely great music that I didn't know about until today.

Nice one man, keep those musical horizons expanding my friend. I'm glad that you enjoyed the tunes and you got something from them
