I hear the train a comin', it's rolling 'round the bend
And I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when
I'm stuck in Folsom prison, and time keeps draggin' on
But that train keeps a rollin' on down to San Antone

Too right you were when you wrote this Johnny in the sky. Another week in the rearview mirror and "time keeps draggin' on". I hope your week was fun, exciting, productive, joyful and music filled like mine, wherever you find yourself on this magical spinning lump of rock that we all call home.

Tuesday is here again, which can only mean one thing, another three tunes from me and hopefully from lots of you legends too. How are all of you music loving rockers from Fanore to the San Francisco doing on this fine evening? Sure, isn't great to be alive all the same like.

It's a time of the week when lovers of music, tunes and craic bring their blockchain community three of their finest and brightest tunes to share and celebrate, so lets roll on and let the tunes flow free.

This is my 63rd week waxing lyrical for Three Tune Tuesday. It started off with me just sharing tunes into what seemed like a void, but little by little others joined and now I'm thrilled that we have a little corner of Hive where we come and share our tunes every Tuesday, and long may it continue. I almost stopped posting the songs and thoughts a few times, but I stuck with it and now interestingly it is my favorite thing about Hive. I love music and now I have a network of folks around the world who love music too and we share our tunes and catch up with each others tunes and discuss them each week. We get Pop, Metal, Rock, Gospel, Folk, Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Reggae, Bippy bappidy Flange Hop. Ok I made that one up, but you get the idea, we are all learning about new artists, bands, back stories and sure isn't it just mighty!

Something that excites me the most is that we even get musicians sharing their covers of famous songs and even their own songs from time to time here on #ThreeTuneTuesday, which is a real favorite of mine, as that takes talent, time and dedication.

We are adding New posters and retaining our core of regulars here on #TTT which is fantastic. Let's keep it growing and that playlist that @blackdaisyft is updating (when she gets time) has ripped past the 600 mark that I mentioned before and at the last count was at an mightily impressive 639 unique tunes and trucking steadily towards 700. Thank you for doing that by the way daisy, when you do find time, as I like throwing on the playlist from time to time reminding myself of all of the sweet tunes that have been shared down through the months - Good on you.

Weekly, I try to find two or three hours to listen to all of the fantastic music shared from like-minded folk from around the globe and interact with their posts. This has lead me to genres I don't know well and to some amazing new bands and artists and has even introduced me to some musical instruments I did not know existed. It also allows me to upvote smaller accounts and fins some really interesting people from all over the world, which is heartening.

I hope you enjoy the tunes - be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below and above all else, please enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - smile at a stranger, rub a dog, be a nice human to someone who was not expecting it - peace out.

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tags that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

Here are my week sixty three recommendations for Three Tune Tuesday

** Drum roll please.....**

The Coral - Dreaming of You

Hands up how many of you have heard of The Coral Quick scna of the room.... Ok, not many of you, I'm guessing maybe around 3 of ye maybe. They are really easy listening and I had a few of their CDs in my younger days and really enjoyed their style

What's not to love about this little opener for five from the Coral. Simple, but classic, I don't usually like short songs and with this one registering at a very short 2:20, it is a bit short for my liking, but I'll let them off as I really dig the tune.

The Coral - In the Morning

The Coral made into my sphere of knowledge in a similar way to many other good artists and that was getting themselves nominated for the Mercury Music prize. They formed in 1996 in a little town near Liverpool. The first song shared above was a breakthrough hit for the band and their 2002 debut album did really well and was voted the third best album of 2002 by NME.

Another really listenable (is that a word?? Hmmmm it is now...) anyway ya another really easy listening tune here. This one is
from their fourth studio album The Invasion Invasion.

The Coral - Pass It On

Let me leave you with this one, another short song it must be said, but another classic from the lads from Liverpool. They are a band that I always feel just missed out on the big time. You see other bands like Kasabian having worldwide fame and fortune, who I really like as well, and you wonder where The Coral missed a trick not to gain a similar following, they certainly had the ability in my opinion.

I read an interview with the band one time and I remember them saying that ‘People are tricked into believing that tiny thing called the mainstream is everything’ and maybe they are right and just never wanted to be mainstream, popular and instantly recognisable. David McDonnell, Jack Prince, Zak McDonnell and Danny Murphy can have a drink with their wife or buy a few spuds down in Tesco without every passer by wanting a little piece of them. Can Bono or Elton John or Anthony Keidis do the same?

Here is the last song for this week:

Qué gusto saludarte!! Espero que estés teniendo una gran semana! The Coral tiene un sonido y ritmo sumamente rico! Me recuerdan mucho a Ed Maverick ya a boy Pablo, lo que es simplemente genial! 🎶✨✨✨

Muchas gracias por pasarte y escuchar estas canciones. Nunca he oído hablar de Ed Maverick y el chico Pablo. Tendré que escucharlos ahora - gracias

Ah the Coral are some band boss. I think they were underrated. I think they kicked off everything in Manchester with the rest of them.

I think they kicked off everything in Manchester with the rest of them.

Definitely and no doubt about it, they were under rated and never got the kudos they deserved. Who knows though, maybe they are the clever ones and never craved main stream success.

Damn not listened to them for bloody years!
Awesome band and I will be listening more tomorrow!

Ya easy for a band to fall out of your consciousness and then realise how decent they are when you remember them again.

Aye too right, just amazing how music actually we listen to!
