This winter, many hairy worms have appeared in my home. They are quite large and move quickly, tempting you to touch them, but doing so is a mistake because, as an emergency measure, they activate their survival instinct and sting anyone who dares to touch them. The burn is painful and takes a long time to heal, so it is best to observe them and leave them in a secluded place in the house where no one will get hurt, neither them, nor my pet, nor my human family members. I found this friend by surprise on a chair in the patio, so I picked it up with a stick and took it to a secluded spot on the ground.
They are cute, and their feathers or hairs move in a hypnotic way when they crawl. Most of the ones I have seen are green, but in different shades, some darker than others. This one, for example, is aquamarine and has a white line down the middle of its body. It may be that the color changes with age or sex. Why must there be female and male worms? 🤔🤭? It's hard to tell where they begin and end, since their heads and tails look similar. Maybe for an expert it's not like that, but for me there's no major difference.

En este invierno han salido muchos gusanos peludos en casa, tienen un tamaño considerable y se mueven con agilidad, provoca tocarlos, pero hacerlo es un error porque como medida de emergencia activan su poder de supervivencia y hacen una quemadura a quien ose tocarlos, la quemada es dolorosa y tarda en sanar por eso es mejor contemplarlos y dejarlos en un lugar apartado de la casa donde nadie salga herido, ni ellos, ni mi mascota, ni mis familiares humanos, este amigo por sorpresa lo encontré en una silla que estaba en el patio, así que lo agarre con un palito y lo llevé a un suelo apartado.
Son lindos y sus plumas o pelos se mueven dando una sensación hipnótica cuando se arrastran, los que he visto en su mayoría son de color verde, pero en tonos diferentes, algunos son más oscuros que otros, este por ejemplo es un tono aguamarina y tiene una línea blanca en la mitad de su cuerpo, puede ser que el color cambie con la edad o el sexo, ¿por qué debe haber gusanos hembra y machos 🤔🤭? Es difícil saber dónde empiezan y terminan, ya que si cabeza y su cola se ven similares, tal vez para un experto no sea así, pero para mí no hay mayor diferencia.
