June has many birthdays at the gym, including mine, which was last Friday. Since we don't have dance classes on that day, they sang “Happy Birthday” to me on Monday without a cake, as the celebration will be at the end of the month. In the meantime, we agreed on the color of our clothes and decided to go with black and white, according to the girls, because white describes me. They say I am pure light and sweet. 😜
The dance was intense, and at the end, when we had no strength left, they played drum music, which is a type of music whose origin shows a part of our roots, which come from slavery, and the rhythm of the drum was brought by black Africans, as well as their dance with cadence and a lot of hip movement. I confess that I never learned to dance to the drum, and I really like both the music and the dance, And that day I had to dance and move as best I could.

Junio tiene muchos cumpleaños en el gimnasio, incluyendo el mío que fue el viernes pasado y como ese día no tenemos clases de baile, el lunes fue que me cantaron el cumpleaños sin pastel, ya que será para fin de mes que se haga el compartir. Mientras tanto, nos pusimos de acuerdo en el color de la ropa y decidimos ir de negro y blanco, según las chicas, porque el blanco me describe. Ellas dicen que soy pura luz y un dulce. 😜
El baile fue intenso y al final cuando ya no teníamos fuerza colocan el género de tambor que es una música cuya origen muestra una parte de nuestras raíces, la que vienen de la esclavitud y el ritmo del tambor fue traído por los negros africanos también su baile con cadencia y mucho movimiento de caderas, confieso que nunca aprendí a bailar tambor y me gusta mucho tanto la música como el baile y ese día tuve que bailar y moverme lo poco que podía.
Let me explain: when it's someone's birthday, they put them in the center to dance to the drum, and everyone else in the group takes turns dancing with the birthday boy or girl. I was a little reluctant to do that, since I don't know how to dance to that rhythm, but it was better to do it badly than not do it at all, since Venezuelans are experts at jokes and I wasn't going to put up with so many jokes for not dancing.

Me explico, cuando una persona cumpleaños la ponen en el centro a bailar tambor y todos los demás del grupo van pasando uno a uno para bailar con el cumpleañero. Yo tenía algo de resistencia a hacer eso, ya que no sé bailar ese ritmo, pero era mejor hacerlo mal que no hacerlo, ya que los venezolanos son expertos en bromas y no iba a aguantar tantas bromas por no bailar.
Terminamos sudados y acostados en el piso, las fotos quedaron bellas 😍🥰. Tengo un video, pero estoy pensando para compartirlo 🤪🫣. Feliz fin de semana, nos vemos en un próximo post.
