I got vaccinated against covid-19 on Friday. So far I have had mild fever 🤒 ... The whole Saturday I was in bed and exhausted.
I'm on day 2 of side fx. Based on what I have seen from my relatives, the fever could last up to 3 or 4 days. Still, I will say it's worth considering the larger goal of community benefits. Thank God, our immediate relatives are all vaccinated. During the pandemic, I saw thoughts and concerns shared by the antivax crowd. I don't have enough knowledge to counter their arguments. My choices are simple either trust the experts or crowds whose credibility can't be verified. One thing I would add the vaccination controversy brought back some nostalgic memory. When I was a kid growing up in Bangladesh, there were TV shows that highlighted vaccine controversy back in the 90s. The challenge was in rural areas people cited religion for not taking vaccine. Bill Gates also cited similar issues recently. I'm amazed how that age old vaccine struggle continues to thrive today. We managed to get our vaccine at the mosque. They declared fatwa taking vaccine is Islamic. It's ironic because the same religion's name was misused to prohibit vaccines. That's all for today...
