RE: Such wow 3D Prints

Judging from the photo in your other post, it looks like the level is a little off and you're too close to the bed.

I've been experimenting around and currently getting great adhesion at around 205 C nozzle temp and 61 C bed temp. (first layer)
190s nozzle and 55 bed seems pretty good for later layers.
(definitely is different for different brands of PLA but within these ranges.)

Less squish is giving much better results, but with less squish the adhesion is much more challenging, and the higher temps will help in this regard.

Best wishes, I hope you get it sorted.

PS. Sometimes it helps to bump the Z like 0.05 mm intervals higher after first layer (if your software allows for mid print adjusts)

Thanks. I suspect now the print bed was vibrating like it was today when I wasn't watching the printer. I used to have to have the nozzle temperature around 210-216 C because of the sample filament's bad nature. The nozzle got clogged a few times after switching and now I realize 205ish C is better for the new Hatchbox PLA I have. I've always had the bed around 61 C.

Can't wait for those Star Trek replicators to be invented.😁
