Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was spent mostly indoor, to keep an eye on Kaia, make sure she didn't try anything that would mess up her recovery. But the weather was so nice that I couldn't resist a few breaks in the yard.
Some of the leaves started turning, we'll get some great colors soon.
Le Chat was of course enjoying the sun as well, I think she stayed there the entire afternoon!
Later in the afternoon, Kaia seemed really sound asleep, so I went for a short walk in the nearby forest and the neighborhood.
Clearly the sunset colors seemed nice, but I didn't have enough time to get to a better view point.
It got dark very quickly after that.
When I came back, Kaia was still in her crate, even though I kept its door open. It's like a safe place for her.
It was good to finally see her eating. First real food after her surgery.
And that was it for the day. It confirmed I probably won't be able to get any good step count for at least a couple weeks, because I can't leave Kaia by herself for too long. I might try a short run though, if my knee feels better.
